Deep Depression to trigger rainfall in Odisha

ONI Bureau: With the depression formed over South west Bay of Bengal that will turn into deep depression in next 36 hours, will trigger rains in several parts of Odisha from this evening, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) today predicted.

As per a release issued by the Regional Met Department, rainfall likely to lash over various regions in Odisha till December 11. However, rainfall will continue in some parts of the state till December 13.

Fishermen have been advised not to venture into sea till December 11 and farmers were asked to shift their harvested paddy from the fields to safe places to avoid loss or damage.
