‘The Intellects’ celebrates Prabasi Raja Mahotsav in Delhi

ONI Bureau:  The Intellects, Delhi-based progressive forum of intellectuals celebrated the 6th PRABASI RAJA MAHOSTAV with all traditional rituals at Dilli Haat in New Delhi on 14th June.

Wearing black attire, all women, members of ‘The Intellects’ raised their voice against violence against women and children.

A fashion show was also organized for girl children. The best of Odia food items like Poda Pitha, Raja Pana were displayed at the venue.

On this occasion, different competitions like Jhoti or Chita, art competitions were also organized. Besides, traditional Raja Doli were also played. In this occasion, MAHAKA MO MATIRA SAMMAN award conferred to the chairperson of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Eastern Region, Jagi Mangat Panda, Social Activist Rina Routray and IAS officer Yamini Sarangi.

Chairman of the Intellects Debendra Rout and other members of the organisation including Ambassador Amarendra Khatua, Sudhakar Mohapatra & Senior Journalist Kishore Dwibedi were also present at the occasion.

The entire event was coordinated by Ipsapratibimbita Sarangi and Poet Parambrahma Tripathy.
