S.R. Patil, Karnataka’s minister for IT, biotechnology and science and technology, said that 110 experts, 100 exhibitors and 3,000 business visitors from 15 countries will participate in the event at the curtainraiser.
The international conference will deliberate on oncology, rare diseases and orphan drugs; proteomics; big data and analytics and internet of things among others. It will also feature 100 young researchers presenting innovations through poster sessions. Government of Karnataka and Vision Group on Biotechnology along with others are organising the event.
