The State Government on Saturday accorded the university status to Rajendra Autonomous College in Bolangir district. The college was established in 1944 and currently, it is an autonomous institution. The institution has been accredited by NAAC as B++.
The colleges in Balangir and Nuapada districts will now be affiliated to the new university.
