The US Geological Survey said the epicentre was in Nepal’s Lamjung district, some 75 km northwest of capital Kathmandu.
The epicentres of the aftershocks were at 28 km south-southeast of Kodari (5.1 magnitude), 49 km east of Lamjung (6.6), 25 km north-northeast of Nagarkot (5.5), 5 km southeast of Panaoti (4.8), 15 km north-northeast of Nagarkot (5.0) and 25 km south of Kodari (5). (IANS)
