A total of 11,763 polling booths have been set up across Delhi. 55,000 cops have been deployed across Delhi. Senior leaders such as Ajay Maken, Kiran Bedi, Arvind Ke, jriwal, Manish Sisodia, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Dr. Harsh Vardhan and many others have already cast their votes.
The main fight in Delhi is between BJP and AAP, while Congress is struggling to find its rhythm. Amidst allegations and counter-allegations by all parties, the people in Delhi have come put in open to vote in large numbers. The voting will end at 6 PM. Counting will be done on February 10.
BJP’s chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi said she is “looking forward to formation of a new Delhi”. The BJP had last time won 31 seats. Congress leader Ajay Maken said he was confident about the performance of his party. Arvind Kejriwal, while expressing confidence about his party’s victory, alleged distribution of money and liquor by the rivals last night.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed the people to come out in large numbers to vote in order to save democratic structure of the country.
