1300 KISS students to appear 10th Board Exam: Highest in India

Bhubaneswar, Feb 20: As many as 1300 students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) will appear the 10th Board examination-2016 of Odisha Board of Secondary Education. It is a record in India for the highest number of students from a single school appearing the 10th Board Exam. It is also highest in world as record number schedule tribe students of a single school appearing this exam.

Among these students seven hundred are boys and six hundred girls. Many students belong to primitive tribal groups. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS distributed pens to the students on Friday and wished them success in the forthcoming exam. It is the fifteenth batch of KISS appearing 10th exam. KISS has been achieving cent percent result in board exam since its first batch. The board exam will start from 22nd February and end on 4th March.
