In the meet held in the conference Hall of I&PR Department, Sri Bahinipati said that the Mela with the objective to promote, propagate and showcases strengths and potential of Indian Systems of Medicines will include Yoga demonstration and exhibition. There will be more than 100 stalls in the fair which is one of its kind in Bhubaneswar. The Exhibition will be opened to General public from 11AM to 8PM with no entry fees. The major attraction for the common public will be the display and sale of AYUSH medicines, Herbal Products and Medicinal Plants. There will be health check-up clinics, free distribution of selected AYUSH medicines, free health public lecturers, free counseling sessions by doctors, demonstration of home remedies for treatment of common ailments.
The Mela will have large participation from AYUSH Drug Manufacturers, Healthcare products manufacturers, health Food producers. These exhibitors are participating from various parts of Odisha and from cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and many more.
Among others P. C. Pathy, Addl. Director Health, Dr. M.M. Rao, Director, National Research Institute for Ayrveda and Drugs Development and Paramindarjeet Kour of Indian Chambers of Commerce were present.
