Inaugurated evening first presentation was “Bibhiddha Varna” comprising of Naga Nata, Prahalada Natak, Gotipua dance, Bajasal, Mayurbhan Chhau, Sambalpuri dance and Ghanta Mridanga representing folk culture of different region of Odisha.
The second item of the evening was Kathak dance by Aditi Mangaldas from Drishtikon Dance Foundation, New Delhi. Her first item was “Guruve Namah” a personal tribute to one’s Guru. The dance was choreographed by Aditi Magaladas, concept was by Rachana Yadav and music composition by Samiullah Khan.
The last presentation of the evening was “Kamsale”, the martial folk art of Karnataka which was exciting and ruminating the audiences.
The dignitaries who graced the occasion were Dr. S. C. Jamir, His Excellency, Governor of Odisha; Shri Ashok Ch. Panda, Hon’ble Minister, Tourism & Culture; Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Tourism & Culture; Shri A. K. Tarenia, Director Tourism and Guru Aruna Mohanty, Secretary, Orissa Dance Academy. The programme was compeered by Anju Tarini Mishra and En. Srinivas Ghatuari.
