Addressing a seminar on ‘Modern Trends in Reporting’ organized by city-based Institute of Media Studies (IMS), OTV News Editor Sandeep Sahu said the earlier days of reporting has been changed with the advancement of internet and IT platforms. But the sole objective and ethics of media reporting should be adhered to. Sahu also advised the students to be fearless while reporting and not to compromise in bringing the truth to the fore.
Speaking on the occasion, senior journalist Prasanna Mohanty stressed on the sources of news, command over language, writing style and credibility for news reporting. He said young media professionals should have seeking spirit to know all and should be jacks of all trades for a successful career.
