Addressing gathering, Mr. Rajeev Bhadauria, Director (Human Resource) appreciated the OHS Team for developing this OHS Standards. “The production system & OHS system should run simultaneously. These OHS standards will be helpful in creating a standard system of all the activities which the organization perform. We are committed towards developing and implementing these OHS standards at all the plants across the entire group with collective efforts to bring world class OHS culture at JSPL,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. DK Saraogi, Executive Director In charge expressed his full commitment towards Health & Safety. He advised all the HOD’s that employees Health & Safety are of the prime importance and they should devote some of their valuable time towards this cause. He appreciated the creation of the OHS standards which will be the most useful and guiding factor to develop & implement the world class OHS system at entire JSPL locations to achieve the target of “Zero Harm”.
Mr. RK Somani, Group Head (OHS) read out the massage from Chairman of JSPL Group Shri Naveen Jindal, in which total commitment and support towards Health & Safety of all employees have been heartily expressed. He also elaborated the necessity of such Global standards.
Safety is one of the prime focus areas for JSPL Group across its all plants. At Angul, JSPL has adopted stringent major for safety of its workmen. With this new global safety standard, it is expected that JSPL’s safety initiatives will be further strengthened and the Angul plant will be a much safer place to work.
