Glorifying the tri-colour, Mr. Saraogi conveyed the Republic Day Message of Mr. Naveen Jindal, the Chairman, JSPL. “With the political independence obtained on this day, India has embarked on a journey of development. JSPL is adding to this nation building exercise through value addition to mineral resources, responsible industrialization and inclusive growth,” said Mr. Jindal in his message. He highlighted achievements of different units of JSPL.
Mr. Saraogi, in his address, congratulated employees of JSPL for their contribution in building a world class steel making facilities at Angul. The funds collected by the students of O.P. Jindal School, Angul worth Rs 120000 /- was handed over to Help Age India on the occasion by Mr. Saraogi, who is also Chairman of the School Managing Committee. He also presented awards to selected employees of different departments for their good work.
Dr. Saroj Kumar Mahapatra, VP and Head (HR & ES) administered the Swachh Bharat pledge to the gathering. He expressed vote of thanks to the JSPL dignitaries, local public representatives, parents, guardians and all assisting staff who made the programme a grand success.
The 66th Republic Day celebration was raised to eye-catching flamboyance with fantastic cultural presentation by the kids of O.P. Jindal School & Jindal Vidyapith, Angul. For the first time, Students of OP Jindal Community College performed a special dance programme in this event. Enthusiastic school kids released bunches of balloons as a mark of freedom followed by distribution of sweets.
