The day started with Free Diabetic Screening at the Occupational Health Centre (OHC), where interested employees their family members and community members participated. This was followed by Free Hemoglobin Test for women, Free Physiotherapy Consultation, at the OHC. On this occasion Jindal Mahila Samiti (JMS) President Smt. Sujata Saraogi along with other members visited Sishu Griha and Ujjala at Angul and celebrated the Chairman’s birthday there by cutting birthday cake, distributing Nutritious supplements for the children at Sishu Griha and distributing Bi-cycles to girls, recovered from illegal women trafficking at Ujjala.
At Bhubaneswar also, the differently-abled Students of various Institutions were distributed Sweets. Speaking on the Occasion Mr. D.K. Saraogi Executive Director (I/c) of Angul said, “We have planned a day-long program for raising consciousness towards physical wellness to commemorate this auspicious Day. The Celebration centered upon various welfare activities in the Labour Colonies. An awareness Programme on Joint Pain Management for the Workers by qualified orthopedics and physiotherapists was also conducted. At Barbil & Tensa, sweets and Chocolate were distributed among children.
