“Hunar Haat” inaugurated at India International Trade Fair 2016

The Minister of State for Power and Coal Piyush Goyal and the Minister of State for Minority Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi along with the Minister of State for External Affairs M J Akbar on Tuesday inaugurated “Hunar Haat” at India International Trade Fair in New Delhi. It is organized by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.

The “Hunar Haat” (Skill Haat) is organised for the first time at India International Trade Fair this year.  About 184 master artisans from 26 States are showcasing their traditional art and skills at about 100 stalls in “Hunar Haat” at India International Trade Fair.

The Minority Affairs Ministry will provide free of cost stall to artisans/craftsmen and make arrangements for their transport so that they can reach Delhi and display their arts/skills at the international platform.
