The deal signed between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe will allow Japan to supply nuclear reactors, fuel and technologies for nuclear power production.
The two countries had in-depth exchanges on bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest to further deepen the broad-based and action-oriented partnership between India and Japan.
Both the leaders witnessed exchange of agreements in a wide range of sectors including, defence cooperation, zero-tolerance to terrorism etc.
