In total, 8,092 villages in 145 blocks and 148 Wards in 35 ULBs will get input subsidy, as they reported crop damage due to pest menace.
As expected Bargarh district will get the highest input subsidy worth Rs 46.67 crore, while Sambalpur district will get Rs 28.70 crore. Rs 21.49 crore have been sanctioned for Ganjam district.
Other districts like Kalahandi (Rs 9.74 crore), Subarnapur (Rs 8.66 crore), Jharsuguda (Rs 5.14 crore), Bolangir (Rs 4.30 crore), Nuapada (Rs 3.45 crore), Nayagarh (Rs 2.05 crore) and Koraput (Rs 1.65 crore) will get good amount of input subsidy.
