In the wake of COVID19 pandemic, the number for positive cases having crossed 5000 mark and nearing the red line, the situation is in a state of grave concern.
Owing to the increased number of COVID19 positive cases across the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took stock of the country’s planning and implementation activities across the country to combat the deadly disease.
In his review, he took a joint meeting with the empowered groups formed for the response of COVID19, assessed preparedness in country-level regarding quarantine facilities, isolation, availability of hospitals and critical care units.
He further instructed concerned officials to ensure sufficient production and availability of essentials including medical equipments, masks, gloves, etc.
