PM Modi Celebrates Diwali With Jawans; Naveen Patnaik Extends Wishes

Continuing the tradition of celebrating Diwali with the jawans, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jaisalmer border. He addressed the gathering at the Longewala post.

In a stern message to the neighbouring countries, Prime Minister Modi said, though India believes in the policy of understanding, the country will ‘reply strongly if tested.’

“India has shown it had strength and political will to give befitting reply to those challenging it. World now knows that India will not compromise with its interests even ond bit,” PM Modi said. 

Meanwhile, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik extended Diwali wishes through a tweet. 

In Odisha, sale and bursting of fire crackers has been prohibited due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
