Rihanna, Greta Thunberg Tweet On Farmers’ Protest, Indian Foreign Ministry Calls it ‘Sensational’

American pop star Rihanna, climate activist Greta Thunberg and several other celebrities from the west have tweeted on the farmers’ protest in India.

Rihanna tweeted a media report on twitter, asking why the matter was not being talked about. Her tweet led to support from several politicians and celebrities who supported in favour of the farmers’ protest.

Young climate activist Greta Thunberg also supported in favour of the protests.

After massive comments on the social media, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The temptation of sensationalist social media hashtags and comments, especially when resorted to by celebrities and others, is neither accurate nor responsible,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, a few Bollywood actors tweeted against the comments made by celebrities of the west.
