AAP gives Cabinet Rank Status to Kejriwal’s aide Ashish Khetan

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which had criticised the BJP and PM Modi for appointing Arun Jaitley and Smriti Irani as Cabinet Ministers despite their defeat in Lok Sabha Polls, has now given Cabinet Rank status to Ashish Khetan, who had lost LS polls in Delhi.

Ashish Khetan, a former journalist, will now get a government bungalow, official car, Rs 1.25 lakh salary, free electricity, water and Internet and permission to keep 10-20 staff at his offices. He has also been appointed as the Vice Chairman of Delhi Dialogue Commission.
