Bengal’s Missing Daughter Tuktuki Mandal “released”, in Police Custody

Bengal’s Missing Daughter Tuktuki Mandal (14) was “released” after the massive outrage. The administration as well as the police are reportedly putting pressure on her to claim that she had eloped with the man willingly. Ground reality portrays a different picture altogether. The police claims that she is in their custody now and is reluctant to go back to her parents.

She was abducted twice, raped, was missing since May 5. She was first kidnapped in February, but released in March. She was again abducted in May and was missing since then. Now, the rich, affluent and political class joining hands to suppress the facts. Tuktuki was abducted by local youth Babusona Ghazi, Salim and some other members of a gang. They are related to the ruling Trinamool Congress.
