The four policemen, who were abducted by the Maoists on Monday in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district, were hacked to death by the red rebels. Their bodies were found just 5 km from the place they were kidnapped. The cops were killed with sharp weapons. The assistant constables, were recruited as auxiliary personnel to assist the state police in anti-Naxal operations. The group is known as ‘followers’. The deceased cops have been identified as Jaidev Yadav, Mangal Sodi, Raju Tela and Rama Majji.
