A high alert has been issued in Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Nagpur and many parts across Maharashtra following the Gurdaspur attack. The alert was issued in anticipation with a probable attack to avenge the scheduled hanging of 1993 Mumbai blasts convict Yakub Memon on July 30.
