Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s emotional appeal to the public, fetched the Aam Aadmi Party over Rs 6.5 lakh on a single day. The highest donation figure in July stood at Rs 28,702, which was recorded on July 1. But, as Kejriwal claimed that AAP has gone bankrupt and needs urgent funds, the donors responded overwhelmingly. The amount reached Rs 6,75,783 with 537 contributors by the evening.
