Odisha Home Secretary Asit Tripathy has confirmed that the government is waiting for a report from the Director General of Police (DGP), Sanjeev Marik on alleged police atrocities in Kendrapara under then SP Satish Gajviye. Action will be taken based on that report, he said. He also revealed that a team of Vigilance and Revenue departments is probing the illegal land acquisition charges against Gajviye’s wife in Gop area of Puri district.
