Artatrana Pratihari, the ‘Pratihari’ servitor of Shree Jagannath temple, was suspended by the SJTA for helping a woman devotee climb the Nandighosh chariot on Tuesday. A notice was also issued to Lord Jagannath’s chief servitor (Badagrahi) Jagannath Swain Mohapatra for failing to stop the incident.
The Badagrahi has slammed Chief Administrator Suresh Mohapatra and alleged that he was trying to create disturbances ahead of Bahuda Yatra. “SJTA Chief is running the administration like a Hitler and taking action without analysing the matter in details,” he alleged.
