Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley ruled out annual revision in pensions for the Army Veterans. “The government will safeguard interests of soldiers retiring at an early age through higher pensions under the OROP. But, there can’t be annual revision in pensions, as demanded by the Veterans. Annul revision in pensions do not happen anywhere in the world,” he said.
