PM Modi regrets Inconvenience caused to Citizens of Chandigarh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to criticise the shutdown imposed in the city during his Chandigarh visit and expressed regret. He also promised action against those responsible. Even schools and crematoriums were closed.

“The inconvenience caused to citizens in Chandigarh, especially shutting of schools due to my visit is regretted. It was totally avoidable,” tweets Narendra Modi.

“An inquiry will be held and responsibility fixed for the inconvenience caused to the people of Chandigarh”, he further added.
