ONI Bureau: As many as 10 Central Trade Unions including the All India Trade Union Congress, Centre of Indian Trade Union (CITU), and Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) have called for a nationwide strike on 8th & 9th January protesting against the policies for workers adopted by the Union Government.
All major independent federations of central employees, state employees, bank employees, workers and employees of insurance, telecom, and other service sectors will extend their support for the Bharat bandh.
Congress, BJD and Left parties will also support two-day nationwide strike called by the Central trade unions.
