UP Government avoids ‘Beef’ or ‘Cow Slaughter’ in Report to MHA

Although the media, some top journalists and liberals continued to chant ‘Beef’…’Beef’ to create a divide in the country, the Uttar Pradesh Government skipped the words such as ‘Beef’ and ‘Cow Slaughter’ in its report to sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The centre had sought a detailed report on Dadri lynching, which has threatened to become a global issue.

Excerpts from the Report:

* Akhlaq was lynched for consuming meat of animal whose slaughter is banned.
* No blame on any group for the killing of Akhlaq in Bisada village of Greater Noida.
* No Communal Tension, Investigation is on to bring all guilty to justice.

The MHA has already issued notices to all state governments stating that zero tolerance need to be maintained towards any attempt to weaken the secular fabric of nation. An advisory was also issued to the UP Government ove the Dadri incident. The MHA will also create funds to revive defunct National Integration Unit in order to maintain peace and harmony in the country.
