ONI Bureau: The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in its meeting on Wednesday approved hike in minimum support prices (MSP) of Rabi crops.
The Cabinet Committee On Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved a Rs 105 per quintal hike in the MSP of wheat to Rs 1,840 per quintal for 2018-19 season.
Likewise, MSP of Safflower raised by Rs 845 per quintal, barley by Rs 30 per quintal, Masur by 225/quintal, Gram by 220/quintal and rapeseed & mustard by Rs 200 per quintal.
