Exit Polls give Rajasthan to Congress; Mixed Verdict in MP, Chhattisgarh

ONI Bureau: Yet again, the Exit Polls failed to provide a clear picture while predicting results on assembly polls held in 5 States, with Rajasthan being the exception. Most exit polls except one, agreed that Rajasthan is going to Congress, but differed on the number of seats Congress and BJP going to win.

In Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, exit polls heavily varied, raising doubts on their credibility. Some predicted win for Congress while others said BJP would retain the States. If we clearly analyze the results, hung assembly in both States can’t be ruled out. All exit polls also agreed that TRS would retain Telangana.
