ONI Bureau: A six-member team of experts accompanied by Assistant Conservator of Forests, experts from Bhubaneswar Nandan Kanan, Baripada’s Similipal Tiger Reserve and police personnel has left for Kumuri village in Angul to tranquilise and capture tigress ‘Sundari’.
Villagers of Kumuri village and media reporters were informed not to venture out during the tranquilizing exercise and co-operate the officials.
As the tigress Sundari goes on a killing spree, killed a man at Tainsi village and a woman at Hatibari village in the last couple of days, irate villagers demanded relocation of the blood-thirsty tigress immediately.
