ONI Bureau: The Odisha unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has sought a hike in pensions for Old Age people, Widows, Divyangs and destitute women from the existing Rs 300 per month to Rs 1,500 per month.
The AAP leaders held a grand padayatra in Bhubaneswar to press their demand and submitted a memorandum to Odisha Minister for Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Prafulla Samal.
The Same Aadmi Party also added that Delhi Government has already hiked the pension under social security schemes to Rs 2000 per month.
