Gangster SK Hyder, who had escaped from the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack while undergoing treatment was nabbed in Telangana.
A team of police personnel from Cuttack and Hyderabad police helped nab the culprit. He was apprehended in Sangareddy district of Telangana while he was moving away in a motorbike.
SK Hyder had escaped from SCB Hospital on April 10 by drugging a police personnel deployed with him. His escape had raised many questions on the police force.
On Thursday, Saumendra Priyadarshi, CP confirmed his arrest and informed that the team had been keeping Hyder under surveillance.
