ONI Bureau: At the time, when protests are happening across Odisha following the suicide of an alleged gang-rape victim at Kunduli in Koraput district, yet another minor girl committed suicide after allegedly being raped by a man of the same locality.
Reportedly, a 16-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming poison at Suanpadia near Banpur in Khurda district on Wednesday who was allegedly raped on December 30.
Following which though the family members lodged a complaint in the police station on January 2, police failed to take any action against the culprit, that forced the minor girl to commit suicide.
Police sources said, the accused and the victim were in a relationship and she was allegedly raped by him.
