Cuttack, May 18: The bail petition of Manoj Das, owner of a TV channel, was rejected by the Orissa High Court today. He was arrested in September 2014 for his alleged involvement in multi-crore Artha Tatwa Group (AT) chit fund scam in Odisha. He has been lodged in special jail at Jharpada in Bhubaneswar.
In the AT Chit fund case, former DSP of Crime Branch, Pramod Panda was granted bail by the court on Friday. Panda was in jail since he was arrested on December 19, 2014.
According to media reports, CBI arrested the owner of TV channel for having alleged links with CMD of AT Group, Pradeep Sethy.
