Baijayant Panda fights for Navodaya Model of Education

Lok Sabha MP from Kendrapara, Odisha, Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda has argued in favour of Navodaya Schools, saying this model has been successful for decades. Mr. Panda put a question to HRD Minister Smt. Smriti Irani recently in Lok Sabha.

The Navodaya Model of Education has been very successful in rural areas. They have provided tremendous opportunities for students who would otherwise have been deprived of quality education”, he said.

He further said that, for the development and up gradation of Navodaya Model, adequate infrastructure facilities needed.
