ONI Bureau: Although all 3 helicopters owned by his company IMFA have been sealed by the State Government inside the Hangar at Bhubaneswar Airport, former BJD MP Baijayant Panda is making a whirlwind tour of Odisha in the last few weeks.
The former BJD leader is not just limited to Kendrapara, his Lok Sabha constituency, which he visited aftermath Titli Cyclone. He had earlier visited Titlagarh district in Bolangir district to celebrate Nuakhai with people, drawing huge response. He later held a grand tea gathering ‘Heijau’ in Dhenkanal.
Jay Panda attended the ‘Ravan Podi’ or ‘Ravan Dahan’ celebrations at Reamal in Deogarh yesterday along with Deogarh MLA Nitesh Gangadeb. He received a grand welcome as well as tremendous response from the people, which triggered speculations whether he wants to contest from Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituency, which also happens to be his maternal grandfather’s place (undivided Sambalpur District).
Jay Panda also visited famous Tarini Temple in Ghatagaon and sought blessings from the goddess. He also had a brief halt at Bidhyadharpur en route Ghatagaon, interacted with people and clicked selfie with them.
All eyes are on Jay Panda when he would give a clear idea about his future course of action.
