ONI Bureau: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Parliamentary Party meeting held under the chairmanship of CM Naveen Patnaik, has decided to raise various issues related to Odisha’s interest, including Mahanadi, Polavaram, MSP of Paddy and 2nd Brhamani bridge in the Parliament.
“BJD will go aggressive to demand a Tribunal to resolve Mahanadi water dispute between Odisha and Chhattisgarh”, said BJD MP Kailkesh Singhdeo.
The party will bring an adjournment motion in Lok Sabha on the issue of Mahanadi, which has snowballed into a major controversy, informs BJD leader in Lok Sabha, Bhartruhari Mahatab.
The party will also raise the delay in several railway projects in the state, it was decided at the meeting.
