Days after the BMC sealed the office of Bhubaneswar MP and BJP National spokesperson Aparajita Sarangi, the order was withdrawn on Friday.
BMC had sealed the MP’s office on October 10 for 15 days for alleged violation of COVID norms.

In a video which had gone viral, the MP was seen celebrating her birthday without wearing masks or following social distancing.

BJD had sought Centre’s intervention into the matter. In her defence, Aparajita Sarangi had accused the BMC of acting selectively. She had said that no action was taken against the BJD leaders and Ministers, who were flouting the norms.
