Campaign for 2nd Phase of Odisha Panchayat Polls comes to an end

Campaigning for the second phase of the three-tier Panchayat Polls came to an end on Monday evening.

As per the State Election Commission (SEC) Secretary Rabindra Nath Sahu informed earlier, the second phase campaigning ended by 7 pm yesterday.

Around 53,62,814 voters will cast their vote of 1,386 Panchayats and 18,859 wards in 29 districts would exercise their franchise on February 15.

According to the SEC Secretary, voting will be conducted for 174 Zilla Parishad members, 1386 Panchayat Samiti members & 18,561 ward members in 29 districts.
