Candidate dies during Fitness Test for IRB Recruitment in Odisha’s Boudh

ONI Bureau:  At least one candidate died and another fell down during the physical fitness test in Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) for the post of police constable this morning in Balasinga area of Boudh distict.

The deceased has been identified as Prabas Nayak of Sorada village in Nayagarh district.

It is to be noted that they took part in the 5 kilometres ‘long run test’ which was held at the IRB 5th Batallion camp today morning. Two candidates reportedly fainted just 200 mts before the finishing line.

They were rushed to Boudh District Headquarters Hospital where Prabhas succumbed during his treatment.
