The Union Health Ministry on Thursday informed this to the Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department.
With this development, the total number of seats at the Medical College in its MBBS course increased to 250.
The Union government has issued letter to the State government in this regard and central team of the Medical Council of India (MCI) had visited the medical college and hospital last May.
