Chhatrapur Murder Accused names Golak Mohapatra

Insight News Desk: The main accused in Chhatrapur NAC Councilor Laxmidutta Pradhan, Krushna Chandra Nayak, who was arrested today along with his associate Duryodhan Reddy, has disclosed that he received help from BJP leader Golak Mohapatra while trying to flee from the police.

Krushna Nayak, a former CPI leader, who recently joined the BJP, said they were told by Golak Mohapatra to go to Deharadun, Uttarakhand. “We stayed in Room No. 204 of the State Guest House, which was arranged by Golak Bhai through his contacts”, he said.

However, BJP leader Sajjan Sharma has rubbished the claims, saying Krushna Nayak was making statements under duress. “It’s political conspiracy. If the government has evidences, let them take action,” he said.
