CM Naveen Patnaik Condemns Sri Lanka Bomb Blasts

On Sunday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed strong disapproval on the multiple bomb blasts in Colombo in which around 185 people died and more than 400 sustained injuries.
The bomb explosions in three churches and three hotels in and around the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo killed around 185 people and left 400 injured.
According to reports, the first explosions occurred at St Anthony’s Church in Colombo and St Sebastian’s Church at Katuwapitiya in the town of Negombo.
Following the first blasts, four other blasts were confirmed by the police. Three were at hotels, while another at a church in the town of Batticaloa.

Naveen took to twitter and expressed his sorrow, “Strongly condemn the gruesome terror attacks in #Colombo, Sri Lanka. Such dastardly acts on peaceful congregations & citizens have no place in civilised societies. My sincere condolences to the bereaved families and wish strength to the government & people of #SriLanka.”
