CM & Odisha Govt arguing on False Documents: Bhrugu Baxipatra

ONI Bureau: BJP’s State General Secretary Bhrugu Baxipatra came down heavily on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and BJD Government on the issue of 2nd Brahmani Bridge in Sundargarh.

Accusing the CM of lying in louder voice, he drew attention to the fact that out of 29.1 long proposed Brahmani bridge, 4.85 km land on both ends fall in forest zone and clearance needed on those areas to commence the project.

“As per the central and NHAI guidelines, forest clearance on that 4.85 km land is essential to start the project. Instead of arguing on false documents, the CM and BJD Government must give clearance immediately. Give clearance today. NHAI will start the project tomorrow,” dared Bhrugu.

“It has become a habit of the CM to speak lies in louder voice. He should talk and act on facts. Without going into the facts, he chose to write a second letter to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, which was totally unwarranted and avoidable,” Bhrugu lamented.

He also wondered why BJD Govt is getting impatient and talking about delay although the foundation stone for Brahmani Bridge wad laid just 4 months ago. “It’s ridiculous for a party to allege delay when they took 10 years to complete a flyover near their CM Naveen Patnaik’s residence,” he said.

“The BJP has decided to launch a movement to expose the BJD Government on the issue of Koel Dam project. Foundation stone for the project was laid on 9th July, 2013. But, nothing has been done yet. Why there is an inordinate delay? BJP will take this issue to the people,” added Bhrugu Baxipatra.
