DCP, Cuttack recommended vide his letter No. 71/DIB Dt.07.01.2015, that there is need for closure of road for which traffic in respect of three/four wheelers and other heavy vehicles are to be diverted for smooth flow of traffic from Choudhary Bazar Chhak to Binod Behari Chhak for a period of 30 days on the basis of feasibility report of ACP, Traffic, Cuttack for the purpose of safety and security of commuters.
By virtue of power conferred u/s 28 of Odisha Urban Police Act 2003 (Odisha Act 8 of 2007) and in pursuance of Regulation 36 of Bhubaneswar – Cuttack Police Commissionerate (Traffic and Public Order) Regulations 2008, it is hereby notified that the following diversion shall be undertaken for completion of the project work requiring 30 (Thirty) days subject to fulfilling of the conditions as laid down therein by M/S L&T Limited after announcing through the public address system and creating due awareness among the public.
- All four/three wheeler vehicles coming from Purna Sahoo Chhak side intending to go to Binod Behari Chhak via Banka Bazar shall be diverted from Choudhury Bazar chhak to take left turn towards Nayasarak, Balubazar and then right turn towards Binod Behari Chhak.
- All four/three wheeler vehicles coming from Dargha Bazar P. S side intending to go Binod Behari Chhak via Banka Bazar shall come up to Balubazar Chhak via Nayasarak then take right turn towards Binod Behari Chhak.
- All four/three wheelers vehicles coming from Ganesh Ghat Side intending to go to Choudhury Bazar Chhak shall come up to Alamchand Bazar Chhak via Binod Behari Chhak then take right turn towards Choudhury Bazar via Chunabhati Gali.
- During the execution of project work 06 (six) feet of road shall be kept open for pedestrian as well as two wheelers.
