Defeated Ward Member Candidate found Dead with throat slit in Koraput Dist

In a horrific incident during Panchayat Polls, a defeated Ward Member candidate was killed by some miscreants in Maoist-infested Koraput district.

The body of deceased Kameswar Palaka was found with throat slit in a pool near the Kana village in Narayanpatna block under Bandhugaon Police Station on Sunday night.

Palaka was defeated by just five votes earlier on Sunday.
