ONI Bureau: The Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday urged Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to provide piped water connection to people of Bargarh and its nearby areas.
In his letter to Naveen, Dharmendra mentioned that while his recent visit to some villages including Bijepur of the district he came to know that people were falling ill after consuming contaminated water from ponds, pools and dug wells.
Therefor he urged the State Govt to provide piped water connection to their home to solve the water problem.
